Building Better Play Space

Built From the Ground Up

We approach playground consulting differently because we started from the installation side. That hands-on foundation means we design with real-world conditions in mind, accounting for drainage patterns, fall zones, supervision sightlines, and long-term wear before equipment ever arrives on site. Our plans work in actual dirt and weather, not just on paper, because we've spent decades solving the problems that emerge when theory meets reality.

Your Complete Play Space Partner

From the first site assessment to years-down-the-road maintenance, we manage every aspect of your playground project under one coordinated plan. Equipment selection, certified installation, safety surfacing, site amenities, shade structures, and ongoing maintenance all flow through a single accountable team. No coordination headaches between multiple contractors, no budget surprises, no gaps in responsibility. You get one partner who understands how benches, surfacing, play equipment, and amenities work together as a complete system.

Inclusion as Standard Practice

We design playgrounds where every child participates, not just accesses. Our inclusive play planning combines transfer stations, sensory-rich experiences, adaptive equipment, and thoughtful pathways so children of all abilities share meaningful play together. This goes beyond ADA compliance checklists to create spaces where diverse kids actually want to play side by side. The result is fewer complaints, stronger community engagement, and visible proof of your facility's commitment to serving everyone.

Gina Posanti

Founder

Gina brings over 30 years of playground industry experience to East Coast Playground Consultants, starting her career as a hands-on installer before advancing into sales and manufacturing. That unique combination of field experience and design knowledge shapes how she approaches every project—understanding both what looks good on paper and what actually works when you're anchoring equipment in real ground conditions. After three decades of watching playgrounds succeed or struggle based on planning decisions, she founded East Coast Playground Consultants in 2024 to offer facilities a partner who genuinely understands the complete lifecycle of a playground project, from initial budget conversations through years of maintenance and repair.
